Frequent soil testing is recommended for all Excellerator specialty fertilizer customers. Since soluble silicon is relatively new to the turf industry, many good quality labs that do soil analysis don't yet have the equipment or testing protocols in place to properly measure silicon. Excell Minerals has begun a program to work with various reputable labs to include silicon testing among their analytical capabilities. No doubt, many more labs around the nation will soon be offering silicon testing services. For now, Excell Minerals has recognized three labs who have met our silicon analysis standards.
